SEOUL, Aug. 28 (Yonhap) -- CJ Olive Young said Friday it will hold its "Olive Young Sale" from Aug. 30 to Sept. 5, offering discounts on a wide range of beauty and wellness products.

 

The retailer will offer about 34,000 beauty and wellness products, catering to customers looking to change up their makeup for the seasonal transition as well as those seeking to manage their health in their daily lives.

 

The lineup will include products reflecting fall makeup trends, such as Peripera tints, Naming pencil liners, Ofra Cosmetics highlighters and VDL cushions.

 

Demand for color cosmetics tends to rise as fall approaches. In September last year, searches for "color cosmetics" on Olive Young's online mall increased 20 percent from the previous month, while sales of related products also rose.

 

Olive Young has also expanded its selection of wellness products. The retailer's wellness category recorded an average annual sales growth rate of 32 percent from 2021 to 2025.

 

This year's sale will feature daily wellness products such as magnesium, collagen and protein shakes that can be easily incorporated into everyday health routines.

 

A variety of products popular among foreign customers, including Biodance masks and Anua creams, will also be offered.

 

During the sale, Olive Young will run a "Deal of the Day" promotion offering additional discounts on different products each day. Products from its collaboration with Sanrio Characters will also be available at discounted prices.

 

"We prepared the sale to reflect a broad range of demand, from fall makeup trends and daily wellness products that have become part of everyday life to global customers seeking K-beauty," an Olive Young official said.
