SEOUL, Oct. 28 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group XLOV will release its third EP, "i=!" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, its agency, Strange Lab, said.

The release comes five months after the group's second EP, "I,God," which came out in May.

"i=!" is an album that focuses on moments of choice and the alternative possibilities that exist behind those choices.

The double title track "Hush" portrays the two sides of life through contrasting beings — a "god" who guides people onto the right path and an "opposite god" who amplifies nightmares.

The other title track, "Toothsome Chihuahua," depicts a dream world in which a wolf raised alongside a family of Chihuahuas believes it, too, can become a beautiful Chihuahua.

The album contains eight other tracks, including "Cat Move" and "All Tied Up."

Member Woomooti participated in the production of several tracks, including the double title tracks.

Meanwhile, member Hyun will not attend the showcase scheduled for Wednesday due to a leg injury sustained during practice. His future schedule will be determined based on his recovery.
