SEOUL, Sept. 1 (Yonhap) -- Boy group MONSTA X will release its new mini album “THE X” at 6 p.m. Monday to mark the group’s 10th debut anniversary, its agency Starship Entertainment said.
The album encapsulates MONSTA X’s journey since its 2015 debut while signaling a new direction for the group.
It features six tracks, including the title song “N the Front,” Jooheon’s self-written “Do What I Want,” Hyungwon’s “Fire & Ice” and I.M’s “Savior.”

The title track delivers a declaration that the group will set its own standard rather than follow others. Its music video depicts the members shaking up the world as representatives of those who carry inner monsters.
The release follows the return of members who recently completed military service. In July and August, MONSTA X held its 10th anniversary concerts “CONNECT X” in Seoul and Japan, reconnecting with fans.
