SEOUL, Dec. 13 (Yonhap) -- NewJeans' hit song "Ditto" has achieved over 700 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.

 

According to Spotify data released on Friday, Ditto, a track from NewJeans' single album OMG, reached 701,116,492 streams as of December 11. This marks NewJeans' second song to exceed 700 million streams, following OMG.

 

Released in December 2022, Ditto is celebrated for its warm melody and soothing vocals. The track propelled NewJeans into the global spotlight, earning them spots on major charts like the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the UK's Official Singles Chart Top 100 just six months after their debut. 

 

Domestically, the song dominated Melon's daily chart for 99 consecutive days and topped the platform's annual chart last year.

 

NewJeans is set to appear on KBS's 2024 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan on December 14 and TBS's CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special on December 16, further solidifying their international presence.
