SEOUL, March 12 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy band Stray Kids has received its ninth gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for its 2024 single album "Hop," the group's agency said Wednesday.
According to the RIAA on Tuesday (U.S. local time), the eight-member group earned the certification after "Hop" surpassed 500,000 units sold in the United States.
With this feat, Stray Kids now holds nine RIAA gold certifications in the single category, joining previous hits, such as "Maniac," "Back Door," "Rock-Star," "Ate" and "Maxident."
