SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Yonhap) -- tvN's new Monday-Tuesday series "Love In Disguise," starring actors Im Si-wan and Seol In-a, premiered with ratings in the 5 percent range.
According to Nielsen Korea on Monday, the first episode of "Love In Disguise," which aired the previous day, recorded a nationwide rating of 5.6 percent.
The premiere depicted the first encounter between Yoon I-jun (Im), heir to Taegang Group who is suspected of murdering his secretary, and detective Kang Jae-hee (Seol), who is pursuing the truth.
When an investigation into Yoon is abruptly wrapped up due to interference from higher-ups, Kang goes undercover as Yoon's personal secretary while disguising herself as a man. But her identity is at risk of being exposed on her first day at work, creating tension.
Based on the popular web novel "Why Doesn't He Know I'm a Woman?", the drama drew attention from its first episode with its unusual premise in which a murder suspect and a detective become intertwined as an employer and personal secretary, along with the chemistry between the two leads.
