SEOUL, Sept. 8 (Yonhap) -- Gmarket said Tuesday it held a "Growth Strategy Seminar" for promising Korean beauty brands, outlining step-by-step support strategies ranging from joining its platform to expanding overseas.
About 50 promising Korean beauty brands, including Derma Factory, NDP, Bareul and OALA, attended the event.
Gmarket plans to provide participating brands with growth support worth up to 50 million won and a three-month incubation program designed to help nurture their businesses in the early stages.
It also plans to connect the brands with Lazada, a Southeast Asian e-commerce platform, and provide consulting services for overseas expansion.
