BTS’s Jin's 'I'll Be There' Ranks 9th Globally on Spotify

SEOUL, Oct. 28 (Yonhap) -- Jin of K-pop superband BTS has snagged the 9th on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs Global" chart with his new song "I'll Be There," his agency said on the 26th. 

 

The song, released on the 25th, was streamed over 4.69 million times on its first day, surpassing Jin's previous solo track, "The Astronaut," which had reached 17th place, according to Big Hit Music.

"I’ll Be There" topped iTunes "Top Songs" charts in 70 countries, including Japan, Brazil, and Australia. It also held the number one spot for two consecutive days on both the Worldwide iTunes Song and European iTunes Song charts and climbed to the top of Japan's Oricon "Daily Digital Single Ranking." 

 

The track features an upbeat rockabilly sound, blending rock 'n' roll with country influences, and conveys an uplifting message of support for those feeling weary or alone.

 

Jin also shared a live performance video of "I'll Be There" on BTS’s official YouTube channel, released at 6 p.m. the previous day.
