SEOUL, Aug. 28 (Yonhap) -- Golden Child has been restructured from a 10-member group to a 7-member group following the expiration of exclusive contracts with members TAG, Kim Ji-beom, and Choi Bo-min.
On the 27th, their agency, Woollim Entertainment, announced, "We have recently renewed contracts with five of our artists: Lee Jang-jun, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, and Hong Joo-chan."
The agency also confirmed that as of this date, the management contracts with TAG, Kim Ji-beom, and Choi Bo-min have ended. Contracts with Lee Dae-yeol and Y remain intact.
As a result, Golden Child will continue its activities as a 7-member group consisting of Lee Dae-yeol, Y, Lee Jang-jun, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, and Hong Joo-chan.
Woollim Entertainment added, "We will spare no effort in providing full support and investment to ensure the members' new activities shine brightly, based on the strong trust we have built over the years."
