SEOUL, Sept. 9 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK marked their 8th anniversary with heartfelt messages, expressing their hope to "stay together like this next year and beyond" and sharing their love for their fans.
According to YG Entertainment on the 7th, the group shared these sentiments through a video posted on their official social media channels.
The video featured behind-the-scenes footage from a recent fan signing event and the premiere of their world tour concert film, both held in August to celebrate their anniversary. The members, excited to be reunited as a full group after nearly 11 months, showed playful moments before the fan event, even making the number "8" with their hands in honor of the milestone.
In the video, BLACKPINK reflected on their time with their fans, saying, "We realized how much time has passed with BLINKs (fandom name), and it made our hearts swell. We were so happy to share this meaningful day with you and hope to meet again soon under good circumstances."

At the movie premiere event the following day, the group once again expressed their gratitude to the fans present. "We were able to meet so many fans over these two days," the members said. "We are deeply thankful for the love, support, and dedication you have shown us over the past eight years."
BLACKPINK is set to make a comeback as a full group next year, with plans for a new world tour.
