SEOUL April 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean crossover male vocal quartet Forestella’s member Bae Doo-hoon will be getting married to actress Kang Yun-jung, addressed entertainment agency Beatinteractive on Tuesday.
Singer Bae Doo-hoon uploaded a letter through his official fan page disclosing “On May of 2023, I plan on getting married to my girlfriend who I have been with for a long time,” adding “Girl friend Kang Yun-jung made me whole and guided me to a brighter side, she is very important person to me.”
Bae Doo-hoon who made name for himself as a singer by winning the music competition program called “Phantom Singer 2” provided by S.Korean broadcasting service JTBC in 2017. Kang Yun-jung debuted through a play “Dwarf who loved snow white” in 2019.
By participating in the production of musical “Laundry,” “Black Mary Poppins” and more, both singer and actress got to know one another which eventually resulted in a romantic relationship.
“The wedding ceremony will be held secretively with both sides of the family and some of the close friends,” addressed the agency.
