SEVENTEEN's upcoming album '17 IS RIGHT HERE' surpasses 3mln pre-order

SEOUL April 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korean group Seventeen's upcoming best album, "17 IS RIGHT HERE," set to be released on the 29th, has exceeded 3 million pre-orders.

According to the music distribution company YG Plus on the 22nd, pre-orders for the album reached 3,087,613 copies as of the 19th.

Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, stated, "It's very rare to see such a high number of pre-orders for a best album that compiles already popular hit songs."

Seventeen recently revealed four new songs, including the title track "MAESTRO," as well as unit songs "LALALI," and "Spell."

Pledis anticipated that pre-order numbers would continue to increase during the remaining week of reservation sales.

"17 IS RIGHT HERE" encompasses Seventeen's past, present, and future, featuring four new songs along with 20 Korean album title tracks and eight Japanese album title tracks translated into Korean.

Prior to the release of the best album, Seventeen will hold a solo concert, "FOLLOW AGAIN TO SEOUL," at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 27th and 28th.
