SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Yonhap) -- Star TV Director Kim Tae-ho left MBC, the broadcasting corporation, on Jan. 17.
“Kim resigned in 21 years after his last day of work,” said an official from MBC.
Kim Gu-san, head of MBC's entertainment division, expressed regret on his SNS that day, saying, "I feel empty because Tae-ho was the assistant director and I was CP during ‘Infinite Challenge’ days.”
“Hope you hit the jackpot,” added Kim.
After joining MBC in Jan. 2001, Kim produced the “Infinite Challenge,” for 13 years and made a successful return in 2019 with “Hang Out with Yoo.” The director recently led the collaboration series with Netflix, “The Hungry and the Hairy.”
Meanwhile, Park Chang-hoon will take over “Hang Out with Yoo,” which has been in Kim’s hands.
