SEOUL, Sep. 1 (Yonhap) -- Lisa's first solo album exceeded 700,000 pre-orders in just four days since its start of pre-sale.
Her single "LALISA" recorded over 700,000 pre-orders by the 30th from its start of pre-sale on the 26th, according to her agency YG Entertainment Wednesday.
Although it is a mid-term tally, it is already the largest pre-orders of all K-pop female solo artists' single albums. As there are about 10 days left until the release, the agency expects further increase in the number of orders.
Lisa will release her solo debut single "Lalisa" at 1 p.m. on the 10th of next month (KT). The album will be released in three formats: CD, Kit (KiT) and LP.
BLACKPINK, which has emerged as a global girl group, consists of members with their own strong star. The main vocal Rose's solo debut single "R," released in March, has reached a "half million seller" with accumulated sales of over 500,000 copies.
Lisa, the main dancer, boasts high popularity and influence with her attractive performance.
"The artist will showcase the best performance beyond the charisma she has ever shown and her music that Lisa's identity has been melted into," said the agency.
