SEOUL January 14 (Yonhap) -- K-pop super star BTS’ eldest member Jin has been assigned as a assistant instructor at the boot camp of the fifth division.
According to the military and entertainment industry on Saturday, The oldest member of the group BTS, Jin, has been assigned as an assistant instructor of the 5th Division by the recruit training battalion of the division.
Jin is known to have applied for the role of training assistant and after a formal evaluation and an interview Jin was selected as an assistant instructor.
Earlier on December 13, BTS’ Jin who is the first member of the group to have enlisted in to the South Korean army, joined the boot camp of the 5th division located in Yeoncheon in Gyeonggi province.
Jin will be discharged from the military in June 12 of 2024.
