SEOUL November 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korean artist, Sean donated over 50 million won in hope to construct a first ever specialized nursing hospital for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS, in South Korea, addressed his agency YG Entertainment on Wednesday.
Artist Sean who participated in triathlon held in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province and finished total of 51.5 km worth of course including 1.5 km of swim, 40 km of cycling, 10 km of run, and donated a dollar ever meter he finished, which in the end consisted over 50 million won. Sean donated the money to Seung Il Hope Foundation.
Sean is working as a co representative of the Seung Il Hope Foundation alongside former basketball coach Park Seung-il in hope to build a specialized nursing hospital for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS.
Artist participated in the policy meeting to strengthen the support for the treatment of severe and rare disease held in National Assembly and asked for support for the construction of the nursing hospital.
