SEOUL, Dec. 23 (Yonhap) -- After the fans of Super Junior have requested "larger and safer place" for the concert venue ahead of the group's concert in Mexico in the beginning of next year, the venue has been changed, announced Mexico daily newspaper, Excelsior, on Friday.
An official from the concert company of Super Junior in Mexico posted on social media, "Super Junior's concert next year will take place at Mexico city arena," adding, "We thank all the E.L.F communities."
E.L.F is the name of their fandom.
The group, who has large fandom in Mexico, previously planned to hold the concert in Mexico at 18,000-seats-sized Olympic Velodrome.
However, fans complained about the venue, saying, "We want to see Super Junior at Mexico city arena where more fans can be admitted." They also used hashtags, showing their power as fans.
