SEOUL, October 26 (Yonhap) -- Girl group Blackpink's MV for "Pink Venom" and "Shut Down" from their second full length "Born Pink" have respectively surpassed 400 million and 200 million views on Youtube, YG Entertainment announced on Wednesday.
The MV for the pre-released song "Pink Venom" surpassed 400 million views on October 25, at 9:37 p.m.
This record was made after 68 days since the release on August 19.
"Pink Venom" surpassed 94 million in just after 24 hours of release, and recorded 100 million views after 29 hours 35 minutes of release, which is the fastest record among K-pop girl groups.
The MV of the title track "Shut Down" surpassed 200 million views on Wednesday, 12:34 a.m., after 41 days of release.
Blackpink topped both the US Billboard's main album chart "Billboard 200" and the UK's official album chart "Top 100" with this second full-length album "Born Pink" including these songs. As a result, the group became the first Asian female artist to dominate both charts in the world at the same time.
