YouTube Channel of Starship Singers Including IVE Hacked

On the 4th, official YouTube channels of singers from Starship Entertainment, including K-pop representative girl group IVE, were hacked, rendering their content inaccessible.

 

According to the music industry, the YouTube channel name of IVE was unauthorizedly changed to 'SpaceX,' a space company led by Elon Musk.

 

As of 8 p.m. on that day, videos related to IVE became unavailable on this channel. The IVE YouTube channel has reached 3.37 million subscribers.

 

In addition to IVE, YouTube channels of singers from Starship Entertainment such as MONSTA X and CRAVITY were also hacked.

 

A Starship representative stated, "Regarding the hacking of the official artist channels on the day, we are currently working with YouTube to resolve the issue and are in the process of recovery." They added, "We will do our best to quickly restore all content. We apologize for any sudden inconvenience in channel usage."
