Model Yurisa signs contract with POPMUSIC Ent. and debuts as singer

SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Yonhap) -- Model and influencer Yurisa will sign a contract with POPMUSIC and debut as a singer.

POPMUSIC announced it recently signed an exclusive contract with Yurisa and the singer is preparing to make an official debut with the support of top Korean composers and producers, on Thursday.

"We will support Yurisa with systematic management so that she can communicate with the public with music and videos that have deepened her color,” said POPMUSIC.

Yurisa gained attention with her YouTube channel in 2018 and currently has 620,000 subscribers. She also became popular as a costume play model in the online community in 2015.

POPMUSIC includes artist DJ CLAZZI, Horan from the Clazziquai Project, and the three-member mixed vocal group, SWAY.
