SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) -- An exhibition of Korean Dalhangari (moon jars) by 10 artists will be held in Busan.
As an opening exhibition, mM Art Gallery, located in Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan, announced on the 2nd that it will be holding a special invitation exhibition (Moon, Welcoming Exhibition) from July 21st for two months.
The participating moon jar artists include Ko Young-hoon, Kwon Yu-mi, Kwon Hyuk, Kim Deok-young, Kim Yong-jin, Seok Cheol-ju, Yang Seong-hoon, Lee Yong-soon, Lee Yi-nam and CHoi Young-wook.
In this exhibition, one will be able to see the mysterious side of the moon jars through various objects including wood, iron and many more.
"I'd want to take the attention that Dongbusan is getting for arts to Wondosim and SeoBusan and lead the local's culture there," Ahn Hye-jin, director of mM Art Gallery said. "We will create a space that will blossom the limitless potentials of artists and provide opportunities for high-quality arts and culture in the region."
