Lee Seung-gi tests positive for COVID-19

SEOUL, Feb. 16 (Yonhap) -- Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi has tested positive for COVID-19.

Lee was confirmed positive with COVID-19 in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test after conducting a self-test on Tuesday, according to agency Hook Entertainment.

The singer, who has asymptomatic COVID-19, tested positive in a self-test he conducted to fulfill his filming schedule.

Lee had finished his third dose of vaccine in December last year and halted all his schedules to follow the guidelines of healthcare authorities.

The actor stars in SBS TV’s “Master in the House,” JTBC’s “Sing Again 2,” and hosts the SBS TV’s “Circle House,” which will first air on Feb. 24.
