SEOUL, June 30 (Yonhap) -- “This is first time I am saying this but seriously, I am planning to make a small space of my own private collection.” Nonet K-pop giant BTS’s rapper Kim Nam-joon better known as RM a well known art enthusiast showed his interest in opening a collection space in Seoul South Korea while casually talking to the global director Mark Spiegler at one of two major art fair, Art Basel’s podcast.
Moreover RM, furthered his vision of creating a exhibition by stating “Korea is a small country, so there is not that many museums or great galleries.” adding “Make a café in first floor, and set up my collections in the second floor and third floor, so that people can always see the collection whenever they just want to see them.”

RM started off his answer by carefully saying “Korea is strange and unique and interesting country.” adding “Koreans I cannot guarantee or define the characteristics about it but as a Korean we have the passion inside of us.”
“We have actually energy and some specific spirit we call it HAN in Korea.” added RM during the podcast.
Towards the end of the podcast RM mentioned “BTS is still important for me and the most important part of me.” adding “For my 30s I just want to figure out the way to exist half half way for the BTS member and leader RM and maybe Nam-joon Kim himself.”
