SEOUL, Apr. 15 (Yonhap) -- A fantasy blockbuster movie "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" started as No.1 on the daily box office.

According to Korean Film Council (KOFIC) on the 15th, "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" maintains No.1 on the daily box office, attracting 86,000 people (79.2% of sales), and 50,000 people (68.9% of sales) the next day, on the first day of its release on the 13th.

The movie is the third episode of the prequel "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" in the "Harry Potter" series, and depicts the struggles of Hogwarts professor Dumbledore (Jude Law) and magical zoologist Newt (Eddie Redmayne), to set back the dark wizard Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen).
