SEOUL, Jan. 4 (Yonhap) – Netflix original series ‘The Glory’ starring Song Hye-kyo has ranked No. 3 among Netflix’s non-English TV series.
The South Korean TV series depicting Song Hye-kyo’s revenge story accumulated a worldwide viewing time of 25.41 million hours last week (Dec. 26 - Jan. 1), according to Netflix official website “Netflix TOP 10.”
Japanese TV series “Alice in Borderland: Season 2” and Season 1 each ranked first and second by accumulating 74.3 million viewing hours and 32.2 million hours. The Japanese science-fiction thriller series features the story of a gamer and his friends who come to compete in dangerous games to survive.
“The Glory,” based on the script written by a renowned writer, Kim Eun-suk, tells a revenge story of a woman who has had her entire childhood and eventually her soul tormented by school bullying, and the ones who fall into her whirlwind of vengeance. Song Hye-kyo acted out the vengeful woman, Mon Dong-eun.
The first part of the 16-episode was streamed on Dec. 30, with the second half scheduled to be released in March.
