BTS Collaborates with Disney·Pixar's 'Toy Story'

SEOUL, April 4 (Yonhap) -- RM, the leader of the group BTS, has transformed into the cowboy character Woody from "Toy Story."

Hybe Corporation announced on the 4th that a collaboration between the BTS-inspired characters "TinyTAN" and Disney·Pixar's famous animation "Toy Story" has been realized.

The characters presented in this collaboration, "Toy Story·TinyTAN," are characterized by integrating seven characters from "Toy Story" - Woody, Alien, Hamm, Rex, Buzz Lightyear, Forky, and Little Bo Peep - with the BTS members.

RM's character dons Woody's cowboy hat and outfit, while Jin's character wears the spacesuit of Alien.

Prior to this announcement, Hybe had raised anticipation by releasing a cut-toon depicting the meeting of TinyTAN and "Toy Story" on the TinyTAN X (formerly Twitter) account on March 30th.

In collaboration with Walt Disney Company Korea, Hybe will introduce six official products featuring "Toy Story·TinyTAN" characters and will hold various events at Shinsegae Department Store.

Shinsegae Department Store will sell products reflecting the "Toy Story·TinyTAN" characters at its Seoul Main Store, Gangnam Store, and Busan Centum City Store, through 22 participating brands covering fashion, accessories, lifestyle, and more.

In addition, experiential pop-up stores where visitors can meet the "Toy Story·TinyTAN" characters will open sequentially on May 2nd at the Gangnam Store, May 17th at the Seoul Main Store, and June 7th at the Centum City Store.
