SEOUL March 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean movie “Woong Nam” by comedian Park Sung-kwang has been sold out its screening rights to 50 various countries, addressed distributor CJ CGV on Thursday.
Countries such as Taiwan, Russia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong and more has bought the screening rights for the movie and it will premiere in April.
The movie “Woong Nam” which premiered in South Korea on March 22, successfully guarded its place as second on the South Korean box office since its premiere, moreover the movie successfully attracted over 198 thousand audiences up until Wednesday.
“Woong Nam” depicts a story of protagonist Woong Nam who has shifted in form from bear to a human going up against global terrorist group. Actors Park Sung-woong, Lee Yi-kyung, Oh Dal-soo, Choi Min-soo and more appears throughout the movie.
