SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Yonhap) -- "I am so happy to be back. We love you guys" (Vocal Adam Levine)
Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Wednesday, regardless of harsh weather, was heat up by Maroon5 and domestic fans.
The group, who has many fans in Korea with their fancy music that compass Rock, pop, and R&B, has visited Korea for the first time in 3 yrs. and 9 months after their last concert on February of 2019.
Maroon5 kicked off the concert with their hit songs "Moves Like Jagger" and "This Love."
Fans cheered by shaking their right arm when the strong drum beat along with the whistle sound in the intro. of "Moves Like Jagger" played.
Levine tried to get fans to cheer by shouting "Put your hands up" in between songs, and fans responded by singing along the chorus of "This Love"
Maroon 5 played on the audience by singing hit songs "Stereo Hearts," "One More night," "Animals," "What Lovers do," etc. with no rest.
After performing "Harder to Breathe," Levine greeted the fans by saying "Hi" in Korean and expressed his thought, "I love this moment of singing with you guys."
The climax of the concert was the "Sunday Morning" stage, which had previously topped the Billboard 200 seven times. PJ Morton's keyboard performance spread the drowsy weekend sentiment of the song all over the stage.
The audiences responded to Maroon 5's passionate stages by waving star-shaped glow sticks and turning on cell phone lights to decorate the concert hall as if it were a star-filled night sky.
After finishing all the prepared songs, Maroon 5 went back on stage at the audience's encore request and played "Daylight" and "Memories."
On the encore stage, Adam also performed "Lost Stars," which he sang in the movie "Begin Again." Before singing the song, he even made a joke, "I've never practiced this song before."
Maroon 5 wrapped up a 90-minute stage with "She Will Be Loved" and "Sugar."
Maroon 5 made its name known in 2002 when its regular album "Songs About Jane" came in sixth on the "Billboard 200".
In 2012, the band beat Psy's "Gangnam Style" with "One More Night" and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks.
They have received the Grammy awards three times so far, including the "Best New Artist" at the Grammy Awards.
