SEOUL, May 9 (Yonhap) -- South Korean boy band INFINITE is gearing up to resume its group activity by establishing a new agency, the six-piece group announced Tuesday.
In celebration of the group’s 13th debut anniversary, INFINITE found an agency repped by the act’s leader Kim Sung-kyu, and named it the “Infinite Company.”
All members of INFINITE are scheduled to hold a live broadcast on the group’s official YouTube channel on June 9, marking their debut anniversary.
Formed in 2010 by Woolim Entertainment, INFINITE garnered wide attention by dropping multiple hit tracks, including “Be Mine,” “Man In Love” and “BTD.”
After Hoya left the band in 2017, the act was then reorganized into a six-piece group. Although the group has not yet officially disbanded, the six members ended their exclusive contracts with Woolim Entertainment and moved to different agencies one after another.
Since then, the members have been individually continuing their activities either as soloists or on the screen.
