SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) -- Suga of K-pop sensation BTS held an intimate fan event on Saturday, his agency said Sunday.

Titled “Agust D ‘D-Day: Movie Night,” the event was held at Seoul’s Nuritkum Square, according to BigHit Music.

The event kicked off with the title track “Haeguem” off Suga’s solo debut album “D-Day.” After hosting a “TMI Talk” session, Suga watched the music video for “People Pt. 2 (feat IU)” together with his fans to match the “Movie Night” concept.

Suga then opened the second part of the fan meeting by singing his b-side song “SDL.” He then showed joy in the “39-Letter Letter” section, during which he read letters his fans wrote in advance to the artist.

“I was so glad to have this time because it has been quite a time since I had a chance to share an intimate talk with ARMY (BTS’ fandom),” he said.

Suga will continue his ongoing world tour, which will take him to Jakarta, Indonesia from May 26 to 28, then to Kanagawa in Japan from June 2 to 4. He will then stop by Singapore from June 9 to 11, and wrap up his tour in Seoul from June 24 to 25.
