SEOUL February 1 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superstar girl group BLACKPINK which is currently on their world tour will be hosting concerts in Mexico and Australia.
According to the YG Entertainment on Wednesday, Mexico and Australia concerts has been added to BLACKPINK’s world tour concert “BORN PINK.”
BLACKPINK will be performing their concert in Mexico City of Mexico on April 26, and Melbourne on June 10 and 11, Sydney of Australia on June 16 and 17. The group will greet over 100 thousand of their fans throughout five extra days of their concerts.

The concert which is planned for Mexico City will be held in Foro Sol stadium which capable of hosting concerts for over 50 thousand people. Previously world well known band Coldplay, One Direction, Justin Bieber and more pop stars have performed in Foro Sol stadium.
Australia is a place where Rose of BLACKPINK spent her childhood in and the group will be visiting Australia in 4 years since they last performed in 2019.
BLACKPINK will also be taking the stage at “Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival” in April and “Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival” in July as a headliner.
