SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- The Busan Museum of Movies launched a photo exhibition of 200 South Korean actors on Thursday to celebrate the growing global presence of Korea cinema, the organizer said.

Titled "The Actor is Present: Busan," the six-month exhibition features writings, photos, and videos by globally acclaimed South Korean actors and actresses. Busan is home to the country's largest international film festival every year.

The exhibition presents videos and snapshots of 100 Korean actors, including Asia's first Emmys winner Lee Jung-jae, and those of 100 Korean actresses, such as Youn Yuh-jung, the Oscar winning heroine of "Minari" and "Pachinko."

The photos, taken by Kim Joong-man and Ahn Sung-jin, show the actors' natural side outside the silver screen.

The exhibition is part of the ongoing Korean Actors 200 campaign, hosted by the Korean Film Council and organized by THE SCREEN. Prior to Busan, the exhibition had taken place in New York, Seoul and Beijing.

The exhibition runs through November 26 for free admission, and closes on Mondays.
