SEOUL, Apr. 13 (Yonhap) – LE SSERAFIM, which has drawn attention as “HYBE’s first girl group,” will make a debut with the first mini album on May 2, according to the agency Source Music on Wednesday.
LE SSERAFIM will hold a fan showcase at Jangchung Municipal Stadium in Seoul on May 2 at 8 p.m., which is the day of the release. The showcase will also be aired online.
The reservation sales for the debut album will begin on Apr. 13 at 11 a.m.
LE SSERAFIM is a 6-member girl group that consists of members Sakura and Kim Chae-won from IZ*ONE, Huh Yun-jin from the Mnet’s audition program “Produce 48,” Kazuha, Kim Ga-ram, and Hong Eun-chae. It is the first girl group launched in collaboration of HYBE and its label Source Music.
The name LE SSERAFIM is a recombination of the spelling of "IM FEARLESS," meaning that it will move forward without fear and not be swayed by the world.
Bang Si-hyuk, the founder of HYBE who produced BTS, and the creative director Kim Sung-hyun have participated in the production of the group’s debut album.
