Virtual Idol Group PLAVE’s Mini Album Sells Record 1.03 Million Copies in 1st Week

SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Yonhap) -- Virtual idol group PLAVE’s third mini album, Caligo Pt.1, has become a million-seller in its first week of release, according to their agency Vlast on Monday.

 

Based on data from Hanteo Chart, the album sold a total of 1,038,308 copies from its release on Feb. 3 until the previous day. 

 

This marks the first time a virtual idol group has surpassed one million album sales in its debut week.

 

The title track Dash topped Melon’s Top 100 chart on the day of its release and recorded 11 million cumulative streams on Melon within 24 hours.

 

The group’s total cumulative streams on Melon for all their songs have now exceeded 2 billion.

 

Caligo Pt.1 is PLAVE’s first new release in over five months and includes five tracks, including Dash.
