WASHINGTON, Mar. 1 (Yonhap) – The Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. (KCCDC) is holding a Hanbok special exhibition “Hanbok Wave” to provide unique Hanbok experiences through K-Pop, art, and technology.

The exhibition, which opened on Feb. 22, will be held until Mar. 25.

It features 10 pieces of contemporary styles of Hanbok worn by the K-pop 4-member girl group “Brave Girls” and the newly-debuted 9-member boy band “DKB,” and various events, including Hanbok Wave Photo Contest and KCCDC’s regular Befriend Korea Program, will be provided.

On Feb. 28, 3 K-pop clubs in Washington D.C. and students from King Sejong Institute, a Korean language course program for locals, visited the exhibition and had a meeting with Lee Soo-hyuck, a South Korean ambassador to the United States.
