SEOUL March 22 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group TWICE’s member Chaeyoung has sent her deepest apology on behalf of wearing a t-shirt with tilted swastika symbol.

Chaeyoung of TWICE addressed her apology on Wednesday through her social media account Instagram, “I Sincerely apologize regarding the Instagram post, I dint correctly regonize the meaning of the tilted swastika in the t-shirt I wore, I deeply apologize for not thoroughly reviewing it causing concerns, I will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent any situation similar from happening again.”

 

Moreover, Chaeyoung's Entertainment agency JYP Entertainment addressed. “We deeply apologize for not thoroughly reviewing it from the label side, being absolutely responsible for this situation, in this regard, we will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent this situation from reoccurring from our side as well.”  


On the previous day, Chaeyoung posted a photo of her wearing a t-shirt with tilted swastika symbol on her social media account, after receiving a criticism from her fans, she deleted the post immediately.
