SEOUL April 14 (Yonhap) -- Actress Kim Hee-sun, and Lee Hye-young will be participating in the production of the upcoming drama series “Gaslighting”
According to actress Lee Hye-young’s entertainment company Blue Dragon Entertainment on Friday, upcoming drama series “Gaslighting” depicts a story of a female protagonist collaborating with her mother in-law to protect her family.
Actress Kim Hee-sun will act out the female protagonist Noh Young-won, who is a successful therapist, and Lee Hye-young will act out the mother in-law figure, Hong Sa-gang, a mystery novel author with very sensitive personality.
Moreover, actress Kang Hae-rim who previously played a role of female protagonist through Netflix’s original series “Somebody” will play the mysterious character Se-Na.
South Korean director Kim Seung-woo known for his previous work “Gone Girl” in 2019 will lead the production of “Gaslighting” and the script of the series will be in hands of well known writer Nam Ji-yeon known for her work such as “So I married an Anti-fan” released in 2021.
The upcoming series “Gaslighting” will premiere within the second half of 2023, and the platform which it will air on has not been designated.
