SEOUL, Jan. 3 (Yonhap) -- The project unit "GOT the beat," consisting of 7 female singers from K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment, will release its new song "Step Back" at 6 p.m. on the 3rd (KST).
According to SM, "Step Back" is an addictive hip-hop R&B song featuring repeated bass and instrument variations. Hitmaker composer Yoo Young-jin and famous U.S. producer Dem Jointz worked on the upcoming track.
Got the Beat is the first output of the project "Girls on Top," in which female singers from SM unveil a new combination of units. It consists of BoA, Tae-yeon, and Hyo-yeon of Girls' Generation, Seul-gi and Wendy of Red Velvet, and Karina and Winter of aespa.
