SEOUL, Jan. 2 (Yonhap) -- All members of boy group IKON (Bobby, Jinhwan, Song Yunhyeong, Kim Donghyuk, Koo Jun-hoe, and Jung Chan-woo) will begin fresh at 143 Entertainment.

143 Ent. announced on Sunday, "iKon has singed an exclusive contract with 143 Entertainment and will begin their second chapter of music lives at new home."

Digital Master (DM) producer being the head, 143 Ent. has artists including trio girl group Limelight, Mashiro of Kep1er, Kang Ye-seo, etc.

IKon explained, "All members were on the same wavelength that working as whole was the first priority, and we came to understanding with DM producer of 143 Ent. who we have been having musical commune with."

The group debuted in 2015 with "MY TYPE" and was loved by the public after making hit songs like "RHYTHM TA," "LOVE SCENARIO," and "KILLING ME."

Yet in 2019, B.I, member and the main producer of the group, left after the suspicion over the purchase of drugs was raised, and in 2021, member Bobby suddenly announced his marriage along with the birth of his child.

Boy band members agreed to end the exclusive contract with their original agency, YG Entertainment, on Dec. 30.

DM Executive producer said, "For iKon to work as much as they like and freely, we will support them in all parts."
