SEOUL, July 16 (Yonhap) -- The romantic comedy drama "Lovely Runner," which aired earlier this year on tvN starring Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon, will be available on Netflix starting next month.
According to the broadcasting industry on the 16th, Netflix announced via its official English social media accounts that "Lovely Runner" will be released on August 1.
"Lovely Runner" tells the story of Im Sol (played by Kim Hye-yoon), a fan of top star Ryu Seon-jae (played by Byun Woo-seok), who tragically dies young. Im Sol is transported back to her high school days and embarks on a mission to prevent Seon-jae's untimely death.
Although the drama, which aired from April to May, had a modest average viewership rating of around 4%, it garnered a strong following due to its intricate and captivating storyline. The complex relationship between the two main characters sparked significant interest and discussion across various social media platforms and online communities.
