SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK's Lisa's solo album "LALISA" has become the first K-pop solo album to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify, its label said on Thursday.
LALISA also earned her a listing on Guinness World Records in the United Kingdom.
The album has exceeded 1 billion streams in April this year in about 600 days after its released on Sept. 10, 2021.
In October last year, Lisa was listed as a singer who exceeded 1 billion streaming of Spotify for the shortest time as a K-pop female soloist, including songs that she participated in as a featuring artist.
Now Lisa holds a total of seven Guinness records under her belt, the most as a K-pop solo artist.
