SEOUL, Aug. 2 (Yonhap) -- Actress Shin Hyun-bin has been selected as the female leading role of JTBC's drama "The Youngest Son of the Chebol Family," which will be released next year, her agency YOOBORN COMPANY said Monday.
The upcoming fantasy drama is about Yoon Hyun-woo (played by Song Joong-ki), a secretary who manages the risks of the chaebol family, starting his second life when he finds out he has suddenly become the youngest son of the conglomerate family.
Shin Hyun-bin will play as Seo Min-young, an anti-corruption investigation unit prosecutor who will do anything to realize justice.
In the process of tracking the series of illegal actions committed by the conglomerate family, Shin's character will show a strong chemistry of both love and hate with Song's second role, Jin Do-joon.
Shin Hyun-bin is following a busy schedule as she is currently starring in the second season of tvN's "Hospital Playlist" and cast for upcoming drama "Reflection of You," as well as next year's "The Youngest Son of the Chebol Family."
