SEOUL, Aug. 12 (Yonhap) -- “I hope my music can be a comfort,” said trot singer Sim Soo-bong, who has announced an exclusive music concert for Chuseok on KBS TV following that of Na Hoon-a last year.
“Since 2020, there have been many changes in our lives due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection. I also stopped almost all outdoor activities including performances on stage. Then I was offered a special concert for Chuseok holidays from KBS,” said Sim Thursday through KBS.
“If my music can be a comfort in any way, I wish to perform songs that can cheer up the listeners’ hearts,” added the singer.
The concert will be, the nation’s diva singer, Sim’s exclusive TV show in 26 years.
It is a special intact performance delivering hope and comfort with a parade of the singer’s hit songs for the people who are going through the pandemic together. The concert is gathering interest for it has been told that the concert will feature a whole new side of Sim.
