SEOUL, Feb. 27 (Yonhap) – The Marvel hero movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” has remained at the top of the Korean box office for two consecutive weeks.

 

According to the Korean Film Council’s Box-office Information System on Monday, “Ant-Man 3” has topped the list with 244,000 viewers (27.5% of sales share) for three days on weekends.

 

“Ant-Man 3,” which opened the 5th Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has maintained its No. 1 spot in the box office since its release on the 15th. The cumulative number of audiences until the previous day was about 1,312,000 people.

 

The Japanese animation “The First Slam Dunk” has taken second place. Entering its eighth week of release, “The First Slam Dunk” has been watched by 170,000 (18.7%) over the weekend, continuing its long-term success. The cumulative number of viewers is about 3.58 million.

 

Four new films, which marked their first weekend, have also entered the top 10.
