SEOUL, June 26 (Yonhap) -- Kang Hyung-wook, the CEO of Bodeum Company and a renowned dog trainer, has made a statement regarding allegations that he unlawfully accessed employee messenger conversations and is now facing legal action.
On the 26th, Kang addressed the issue on his social media accounts, stating, "I have recently heard that a complaint has been filed with the police. I will fully cooperate with the investigation to uncover the truth."
He added a warning to those spreading false information, saying, "For those who have caused unnecessary misunderstandings about me and my family with unverified information, spread groundless falsehoods, or slandered us, and for those who have filed false accusations, I will take stern measures, including legal action."

Kang also expressed gratitude for the support he has received, saying, "I gain a lot of strength from the comments and emails sent by many people waiting for my training videos. I will strive to respond with even more professionalism as a trainer."
The controversy began when a review was posted on a job-seeking platform, alleging unfair treatment at Bodeum Company. Former employees claimed that Kang monitored them through CCTV and frequently verbally abused them. In response, Kang released a video on YouTube on the 25th of last month, admitting to accessing internal messages but denying most of the other allegations, including surveillance through CCTV.
Two former employees of Bodeum Company have filed a lawsuit against Kang and his wife for violating the Information and Communications Network Act.
