SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Yonhap) -- Global fan platform Weverse has partnered with QQ Music, China’s largest music streaming service, to introduce its direct messaging feature “Weverse DM.”

Under a strategic partnership between the two platforms, Weverse DM will officially launch on Nov. 18 within QQ Music, Weverse said Thursday.

QQ Music, operated by Tencent Music Entertainment, announced the collaboration on its official Weibo account, saying it will open the Weverse DM service to users soon. The feature will be available as an in-app function, allowing fans to access it without additional installation.

Weverse DM enables fans to exchange messages directly with artists and celebrities, offering automatic translation in 14 languages. The service is currently used by artists such as TOMORROW X TOGETHER, LE SSERAFIM, actors Byeon Woo-seok, and Lee Chae-min.

A representative from Weverse Company said, “By providing Weverse’s core feature, Weverse DM, through a local partner in China, we have greatly enhanced accessibility for fans,” adding that the company plans to “continue expanding initiatives that improve convenience and engagement for Chinese users.”
