SEOUL, June 25 (Yonhap) -- The National Palace Museum of Korea announced on Tuesday that it will close from July 8 to 27 for internal renovations.
From July 8 to 20, the second-floor exhibition hall will be closed. The first floor and basement exhibitions will remain open, but visitors must enter through the entrance near the “Gogung Ddeurak” cafe.
From July 21 to 27, the entire museum will be closed.
A museum official stated, “This measure is intended to improve visitor flow by updating outdated facilities in the lobby area and enhancing the museum’s guidance functions.”
