SEOUL, August 26 (Yonhap) -- Girl group Blackpink’s Pink Venom choreography video has exceeded 20 million YouTube views on the day of its release, its agency YG Entertainment announced on Friday.
THis is the highest YouTube views in 24 hours among K-pop girl groups’ choreography videos.
The previous highest record was also Blackpink’s choreography video. Dance video of “How You Like That,” which was released in July 2020, has surpassed 18.8 million views in a day.
Music video of “Pink Venom” has also surpassed 100 million views in just 29 hours 35 minutes, replacing K-pop girl group’s highest record.
Blackpink departed to U.S to attend “MTV Video Music Awards.” which will be held in New Jersey on Aug. 28.
