SEOUL, April 3 (Yonhap) -- Singer Yoo Seung-jun, who was banned from entering Korea due to draft evasion, expressed his feelings, stating, "It's been four months since the victory in the visa issuance lawsuit, yet there is no news."

On the 2nd, Yoo Seung-jun shared his current situation through his social networking service (SNS), saying, "The breakup that seemed to end quickly has been 22 years, and I still don't see any date to reunite."

He wrote, "It's been 27 years since my debut, and considering the time spent with fans, it's barely five years. Half of that time was spent in the United States, so if you really want to calculate, I've only been active for about two years and six months."

He added, "I've lived well. I've lived hard. I have no regrets or resentments. I've waited for 22 years. I've done what I could. It's okay."

Yoo Seung-jun debuted in April 1997 and lost his Korean nationality after obtaining U.S. citizenship in 2002 for the purpose of performing abroad. The Ministry of Justice restricted his entry into Korea.

Subsequently, in 2015, he applied for a visa at the LA Consulate General as a foreign resident of Korean descent but was denied. He filed a lawsuit requesting the cancellation, which eventually ended in his final victory in November last year. However, despite the court's ruling, the LA Consulate General refused to issue a visa again. Yoo Seung-jun filed a second cancellation lawsuit, which also ended in his final victory in the Supreme Court.

According to the verdict, if Yoo Seung-jun applies for a visa, the government must reconsider whether to issue it. However, even if the LA Consulate General issues a visa, if the Ministry of Justice bans his entry, he still cannot enter Korea.
