SEOUL, September 20 (Yonhap) -- Korea National University of Cultural Heritage (Acting President Jung Yong-jae) will hold an exhibition, "Korean Traditional Paintings by Promising Painters" under the theme of traditional paintings made with Korean traditional techniques at the Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The theme of the exhibition is "Traditional Painting in Blue Gardens," and they will be exhibiting 26 pieces of Undergraduate and graduate students and advisor Kwon Jy Eun.
Professor Kwon, Jy Eun will be exhibiting ‘the Fadeless Peony- King of Flowers,' created with metallic pigments, silver foil, and blue foil, using the Buddhist painting technique among Korean traditional paintings.
Group work of 3rd year students ‘Chaekado’ is like a wish list. The placed Korean antiques and Arab cultural things to show desire for wealth and knowledge. The exhibition will continue until October 28.
